The Alcúdia beach is the main beach of the area, the presence of palmtrees and sea pines gives this beach a natural beauty. You can find bars and rental of water equipment. So it will offer you a complete service. Around Alcúdia you will aslo find the beaches of S'Illot, it's a beautiful beach that is shaped like 2 arches, and it's only 5km from the city. Also the beach of Sant Joan, it's usually frequented by locals, it's a combination of sandy and rocky soil where you can admire the bay of Pollença from a distance. There is also Aucanada, it's a small beach with clean and quiet waters a little wood of pine trees surrounds the bay providing shade to rest from the sun on hot summer days.

There is a lot of things to do in the Old Town of Alcudia, like getting lost between the alleys of the village or if you preffer to do a self-guided walking tour to understand all the history that surrounds you. You can also enjoy a walk through Carrer Major, it's the main road, where you will find many shops and restaurants with traditional food. Without forgetting about the Roman Ruins, the Roman Amphitheatre and the musuem that narrates the history from years and years ago.

Every tuesday and sunday morning there is a market next to the walls of the village of Alcúdia. Where you will find from local farmers where they sell their own products to stalls where they sell absolutely everything: Shoes, bags, clothes, accesories, in addition to a great atmosphere combined with local people and tourists.

Natural Park
The Nature Park of S´albufera is the most important wetlands of the Balearic Islands and it's protected by two very important programs of international conservation. It is formed by freshwater marshes densely populated with vegetation, creating the perfect habitat for a big quantity of birds. The nature lovers will enjoy the four available routes with a few places of interest. Routes can be made by foot or by bicycle. Another interesting option is to visit the 4 observation points of the birds. More than 200 species of birds have been included in the park.
